dirty little shop - the dirty little shop could mean capitalism in general. seems to be a song highlighting flaws in the capitalist society

soldier on - i takes this one at face value. basicly a song bout gettin a girl

winston smith - obviously the whole song is a reference to 1984

chained to no one - the importance of being free. the song highlights what people might see as negative traits such as been a drunk or a junkie but kinda says "yeh but its my choice." i suppose its got a "think for yourself" feel.

brilliant line kinda like he knows hes getting called a junkie but after all a "junkie" is just a word and it shis own personal choice.

forget it all - seems to be comparing the lower classes to trained animals in the way that they are used and abused. and telling them that rejecting this society is ok?

little pretenders - knife crime and wanna be hardmen id reckon

on a bridge by the pub - i for some reason get a feeling this could be about cocaine and obviously getting arrested.

who are you - think the title sums it up someone trying to come to terms with themselves and not being entirly happy with their lot.

let it lay - not sure about this one at all, had an idea that maybe it was about the importanceof being free again but more in thought. i dunno lol
